On September 19th, the Roaring Fork Kayaking Club loaded up our fleet of kayaks and met the 6th graders from Carbondale Middle School at Highline Lake for a fantastic day on the water! For many of these kids, it was their first time kayaking, and their excitement was contagious. The sunny weather set the perfect scene as they took to the boats. It was a great opportunity to share our love of kayaking with the next generation. Looking forward to more off-water projects like this!
